Carol Schram: Nilsson gets the nod in Nashville, Colton Saucerman is a sensation in Utica
The Vancouver Canucks will turn to Anders Nilsson in net as they look to stretch their winning streak to a season-high four games on Thursday night in Nashville. Meanwhile, PTO defenseman Colton Saucerman captured the imagination of the hockey world with his first career AHL goal as the Utica Comets beat the Providence Bruins on Wednesday.
Love the U25 top6 Green keeps fielding, win or lose were winning IMO
Ovechkin>Bossy. Era matters, he was scoring on pylons.
No way we pull one over on Nashville twice, they're coming in ready.
Palmu's always going to be a major longshot. - neem55
6th round pick and a smaller guy. I just wonder why they did it again with Manuyuakantukin. Why below 5'9" there is like 2 decent players below that in the nhl.

it's a growing trend that smaller guys make it though
I forgot who said it but they said that "if you weren't 6' or taller you didn't stand a chance of being a first round pick"
The league hasn't gone from 6' or taller to 5'6. 5'10" is now probably more normal and anyone smaller would probably be pretty elite. - manvanfan
For sure. But in the next draft there's about 8 guys 5'9-5'10 going in the first round. I'm not sure that's ever happened but as the league goes toward more skill and speed it's a trend is all I'm pointing out.

Maybe 4? I'm unsure if Caufield has it in him. I have to wonder about Honka considering his brother sucks still.
